Space Station Packaging

I am reminded of the old jelly and jam jars that, when emptied, served as drinking glasses — except, of course, that these are drinking glasses ab initio.
But how long will they stay drinking glasses? At Gilbert Musings, it’s strongly suggested that they are recyclable, but are the reüsable? Do they easily scratch? Are they diswasher safe?
